Revenue and Taxation
"The only gaurantees in life are death and taxes". What are your thoughts on the spending of your hard earned tax dollars? Perhaps you feel funds are being missapropriated? Tell Canada how you think our Federal coffers, the money that you worked so hard for, is being misspent or how it would be better managed.

Economy
Of particular interest today is the status of the economy, not only in Canada, but world wide. Job creation, unemployment, Federal cash injections. Aren't these issues we the people should have a say on? This day and age the face of democracy should be changing. If we the people are expected to tighten our purse strings, perhaps we should be advised why it's "Just us"??

Education
In many cases education is one of the first stops for budget cuts when it comes to provincial budgets. But what of federal budgets for education. What are your thoughts, your input on "Our children are our future"?

Long Gun Registry
The long debated long gun registry. Many claim it to be a huge waste of taxpayers money and a knee jerk reaction to firearm crime prevention, and others believe it to be of value to ensure legitimate firearms registration, claiming that it aids in controlling violent crimes involving firearms.

Elections
The party that wins the most ridings in a general federal election is asked by the Governor General to form the government. The leader of that party becomes the Prime Minister of Canada. If the party wins in more than 154 ridings, it will have a majority government, which makes it much easier to get legislation passed in the House of Commons. If the winning party wins 154 seats or fewer, it will form a minority government. In order to get legislation through the House, a minority government usually has to adjust policies to get enough votes from MPs of other parties. A minority government must constantly work to maintain the confidence of the House of Commons in order to stay in power.
